Many people are unclear as to what the Town Council actually does with tax payers money.

The Town Council currently provides the following services:

Leisure & Sports Facilities

  • Children's Play Areas at:
    • Upper Memorial Park, Park Road, Lower Memorial Park,Downfield, Kelston Road, Teviot Road, Holmoak Road, Manor Road
  • Basketball facilities at Teviot Road, Manor Road, Park Road and Kelston Road
  • Football Pitches/Pavilion at Manor Road
  • Floodlit Multi Sport Court at Memorial Park
  • Floodlit tennis courts - FREE to use during daylight hours
  • Skateboard facility at Memorial Park

Green Spaces and Memorial Park

Most of the Green Spaces around Keynsham and inside Memorial Park are looked after by the Bath and North East Somerset Council’s Parks and Green Spaces Team. Keynsham Allotment Association

Keynsham Allotment Association was established in 1987 to provide allotments to the community of Keynsham. The Association looks after 120 allotments at the site on Park Road, Keynsham. It is subsidised by Keynsham Town Council, which financially supports the Association with rent payments and major repairs that are needed at the site. The Association takes responsibility for allocation, inspection of allotments and maintenance and management of the site. Each allotment is approximately 150 square yards in size, and there is a water supply at the site.
