Keynsham In Bloom
With two very successful years behind us, Keynsham Town Council with assistance from the community has again organised its very own floral competition. Last year there were over forty entries in the competition, twenty entries in the ‘Grow the Tallest Sunflower Competition’ and over thirty entries in the children’s art competition.
Councillor Roy Staddon, Chairman of the Town Council said ‘that this has proved to be a welcome addition to the events programme in Keynsham, contributing pleasure to all entrants. We hope to see a further increase in entries to all of the categories’.
With seven separate categories, the aim is to involve the whole community and there will be awards for schools and community groups, local businesses as well as individual households.
