2019 Monthly Photography Competitions

This Year Keynsham Town Council will be running monthly photography competitions.

Participants will be asked to submit a photo that represents Keynsham and the month in which it has been taken.

The three best entries for each month will be selected by the Council and published online where the public will then vote for their favourite.

Enter December's Photo Competition

Entries for December's competition are open until Sunday 15th December 2019.

It's a slightly shorter deadline this month as the winning entry, along with all the winners from throughout the year, will be put up at Keynsham Station at the start of January 2020 so we need some time put the display together.

Of course we would like people to get out and take photos of the town this December, but if you have some great images of 'Keynsham at Christmas' in your back catalogue, then they can also be entered.

To enter send your photos to david@keynsham-tc.gov.uk. Looking forward to seeing your festive snaps!

Taking part

Anybody can enter; there’s no need to have photographic experience or a fancy camera, but remember, judges will be looking for images that are representative of Keynsham and the Months in which they’re taken. Entries will have to look good in the poster casings at Keynsham Railway Station, so whilst landscape entries are very welcome, portrait images are more likely to be a natural fit for the ratio of the station casings (see terms for more information on size).

Too take part, you just need to send your beautiful photo(s) of Keynsham to david@keynsham-tc.gov.uk

Once the voting for the previous month's competition has finished and a winner has been announced, the following month's competition will be launched. Closing dates for entries will be published on this page and on the Town Council's Facebook and Twitter.

How will winning entries be used?

Winning photographs will then be used as part of a ‘Keynsham through the Year display at Keynsham Railway Station in 2020.

Happy Snapping!
