2019 Monthly Photography Competitions

This Year Keynsham Town Council will be running monthly photography competitions.

Participants will be asked to submit a photo that represents Keynsham and the month in which it has been taken.

The three best entries for each month will be selected by the Council and published online where the public will then vote for their favourite.

Enter October's Photo Competition

Entries for October's competition are open until Sunday 3rd November 2019. If you would like to enter then please send your photos to david@keynsham-tc.gov.uk

Taking part

Anybody can enter; there’s no need to have photographic experience or a fancy camera, but remember, judges will be looking for images that are representative of Keynsham and the Months in which they’re taken. Entries will have to look good in the poster casings at Keynsham Railway Station, so whilst landscape entries are very welcome, portrait images are more likely to be a natural fit for the ratio of the station casings (see terms for more information on size).

Once the voting for the previous month's competition has finished and a winner has been announced, the following month's competition will be launched. Closing dates for entries will be published on this page and on the Town Council's Facebook and Twitter.

How will winning entries be used?

Winning photographs will then be used as part of a ‘Keynsham through the Year display at Keynsham Railway Station in 2020.

Happy Snapping!
