Help Keynsham in Bloom create a ‘Poppy Cascade’

Keynsham Poppy Cascade 2018

As part of the Keynsham's remembrance celebrations in 2018, Keynsham in Bloom are creating a ‘Poppy Cascade’ at St. John’s Church. To achieve this they need as many knitted poppies as they can which means that they need your help! If you knit or know anybody else who knits then please make some poppies for us.

The cascade will form the centrepiece for the town’s display remembering those that lost their lives serving their country and will be unveiled the week commencing 5th November 2018.

You can pick up a knitting pattern from the Town Council offices or download it below.

Keynsham in Bloom are also supplying FREE wool to anybody needs it; you can pick some up from the Town Council offices.

Completed poppies should be delivered to Keynsham In Bloom c/o Keynsham Town Council 15 – 17 Temple Street, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 1HF. The poppy display will be created at the church and will be in place from the 5th November 2018 but we would like people to start dropping off their poppies as soon as possible.

Happy knitting!
