Members of the Town Council as of 3rd May 2007 The fifteen members of the Town Council are made up of the three main political parties. There are 6 Liberal Democrats, 3 Labour and 6 Conservative. Each of the members represents one of the three wards. The Town Council has three major Committees; a Policy & Resources Committee; an Amenities Committee and Planning Committee. A number of sub-committees and working parties support the work of the major committees.
