(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Stockwood Vale, Keynsham from its point outside Orchard House, extending south west for approximately 370 metres. USRN: 47902917.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to ensure safe working conditions to replace a pole by Sunbelt Rentals on the 13th January 2023 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 – 15:30hrs.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

 

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 16a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily:

 

  • Introduce a road closure on the roads and lengths of roads specified in Column 1 and 2 of the Schedule to this notice;
  • Short closure of Bath Hill/Temple Street to allow a parade from Keynsham Memorial Park Gates up to the junction with High Street. Traffic will be stopped by qualified stop/go board operators between Bath Hill Roundabout and the lights at the Pedestrian Crossing on Temple Street.

 

This order is required to prevent obstruction during the Keynsham Winter Festival and will be operative on Friday 25th November 2022, between the times specified in Column 3 of the Schedule to this notice.

 

Alternative Route

 

Bristol Road, St Ladoc Road, Charlton Road (unaffected part), Ashton Way, Rock Road, Temple Street and Bath Hill.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Parkhouse Lane, Keynsham from its point outside the property known as Wellfield House. USRN: 47902939.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for a new supply by Bristol Water on the 22nd November 2022 for a maximum period of 4 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to pedestrians that length of Footpaths BA27/28: ST 66532 68226 to ST 66563 68048 Nr Bath Road, Keynsham from a point alongside Withies Farm heading in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 317 metres, BA27/27: ST 66527 67929 to 66837 67819 from its meeting point with BA27/28 in a easterly direction for a distance of approximately 328 metres.  

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath consequent upon construction works by Crest Nicholson Operations Limited and will be operative from the 9th August 2022 for a maximum period of 6 months. However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the footpaths will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works which it is anticipated will be 6 months.
