 (THTTC2473 CHANDAG ROAD, KEYNSHAM) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2021

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of Chandag Road, Keynsham, from its junction with Bath Road (B3115) to its junction with Hurn Lane, also to include a section of Hurn Lane from its junction with B3116 Wellsway to its junction with Dene Close, including cul-de-sacs - Derwent Grove, Tamar Drive and Lambourn Road.  These works will be carried out in two phases.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for Carriageway Reconstruction and Resurfacing works by Bath and North East Somerset Council, operative from 1st April 2021, for a maximum period of 18 months.  The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.  This is anticipated to be for a period of up to 2 weeks.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: 

Chandag Road, Keynsham Phase 1 - CAD-JS-1645 

Diversion via Hurn Lane - B3116 Wellsway - B3116 Bath Road and Chandag Road.  Reversed for opposite direction.

Chandag Road, Keynsham - Phase 2 - CAD-JS-1646 

Diversion via Chandag Road - Hurn Lane - B3116 Wellsway and B3116 Bath Road.  Reversed for opposite direction.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of Lockingwell Road/St Georges Road, Keynsham, from the junction of Charlton Road to the junction of St Ladoc Road.  These works will be carried out in two phases.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for carriageway for Carriageway Reconstruction and Resurfacing works by Bath and North East Somerset Council, operative from the 1st April 2021, for a maximum period of 18 months.  The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.  This is anticipated to be for a period of up to 1 week.

(THTTC2340, A4 KEYNSHAM BYPASS, KEYNSHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBTION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2020

 Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure at the A4 Keynsham Bypass, Keynsham (Westbound) for its entire length.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road consequent upon carriageway resurfacing works by Bath and North East Somerset Council and will be operative on 12th October 2020 for a maximum period of 18 Months. The works are anticipated to be for a period of 1 week (Night Works 19:00 – 7:00) Diversion to be clearly signed.

(THTTC2334) (TEMPORARY ELECTRIC SCOOTER TRIAL) ORDER 2020

 Notice is hereby given that Bath and North east Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and The Electric Scooter Trials and Traffic Signs (Coronavirus) Regulations and General Directions 2020 intends to make an order the effect of which will enable electric scooters (as defined in The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016) being used in a trial, to use any road or length of road in Bath and North East Somerset which are currently used by pedal cycles. This applies only to electric scooters hired from a company authorised and in accordance with the regulations made by the Department of Transport.

This order is required in connection with the likelihood of danger to the public; improving and providing travel options in connection with Coronavirus and will be operative from the 25th September 2020 for a maximum period of twelve months.

(THTTC2268, HIGH STREET, KEYNSHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY MOTOR VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING, WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2020

NOTICE is given that on 30th July 2020, the Bath and North East Somerset Council made the above order, under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which, subject to the listed exceptions, will be to close temporarily to motor vehicles, prohibit parking, waiting and loading on the High Street, Keynsham from its junction with Charlton Road to its junction with Bath Hill from 9am – 5pm 7 days a week.

The Bath and North East Somerset (THTTC2268, High Street, Keynsham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use by Motor Vehicles) (Temporary Prohibition and Restriction of Parking, Loading and Waiting) Order 2020 will come into operation on 3rd August 2020 and a copy, together with a Statement of the Council's reasons for making the order may be requested, free of charge, by contacting 01225 394041 or by email council_connect@bathnes.gov.uk. (THTTC2280 FOOTPATH BA27/28 – BA27/27, Nr BATH ROAD, KEYNSHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to pedestrians that length of Footpaths BA27/28: ST 66532 68226 to ST 66563 68048 Nr Bath Road, Keynsham from a point alongside Withies Farm heading in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 317 metres, BA27/27: ST 66527 67929 to 66837 67819 from its meeting point with BA27/28 in a easterly direction for a distance of approximately 328 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath consequent upon construction works by Crest Nicholson Operations Limited, and will be operative from the 09th August 2020for a maximum period of 6 months. However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the footpaths will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works which it is anticipated will be 6 months.
