TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES

 

In pursuance of Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 2nd March 2023, Stockwood Vale, Keynsham shall be closed to all traffic, in the interests of public safety, to enable Bristol Water to carry out urgent repairs to fix a leak of 2000LPH. USRN: 47902917

The road will be closed at Stockwood Vale, Keynsham from its point outside the property known Orchard House, but the closure shall not apply to any vehicle associated with the works.

Alternative Route: Dead-end road.

The closure and diversion will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

These works will commence on 2nd March 2023 and the road closure is anticipated to be required for 5 days. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 7 days.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to close temporarily to cyclists, horse riders and vehicles, and suspend all parking to vehicles in the length of roads listed in Schedule 1.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for resurfacing and associated works by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 3rd April 2023 for a maximum period of 18 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for up to ONE WEEK at each location.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Broadmead Lane, Keynsham from its junction with Unity Road (Northern Part) extending north to its junction with Stidham Lane. USRN: 47903052.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Sunbelt Rentals to carry out vegetation and bridge repair works on behalf of Network Rail on the 30th May 2023 for a maximum period of 2 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for NINE NIGHTS between 22:00 – 06:00hrs, week nights only.

Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to pedestrians that length of Footpaths BA27/28: ST 66532 68226 to ST 66563 68048 Nr Bath Road, Keynsham from a point alongside Withies Farm heading in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 317 metres, BA27/27: ST 66527 67929 to 66837 67819 from its meeting point with BA27/28 in a easterly direction for a distance of approximately 328 metres.  

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath consequent upon construction works by Crest Nicholson Operations Limited and will be operative from the 9th February 2023 for a maximum period of 6 months. However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the footpaths will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works which it is anticipated will be 6 months.
