Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Avon Mill Lane, Keynsham from the roundabout at B3116 Bath Hill for approximately 90 metres in a north easterly direction. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for mobile Crane Operation to lift a pedestrian bridge into position by King Lifting Limited on the Sunday 18th June 2023 for a maximum period of 2 consecutive Sundays. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for 1 DAY with a back-up date of Sunday 25th June.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of B3116 Wellsway, Keynsham from a point outside the entrance to Rockhill Estate extending to its junction with Bath Road (outside the New Inn). USRN: 47918073.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to construct 170m of new sewer and associated manholes in the carriageway on the 24th July 2023 for a maximum period of 14 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWELVE WEEKS.

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of The Avenue, Keynsham, from its junction with Station Road for its entire length. USRN: 47902975.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Sunbelt Rentals to replace the boundary fence and posts on behalf of Network Rail on the 22nd May 2023 for a maximum period of 4 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for THREE WEEKS. Marshalling will take place for resident/ pedestrian access and the road will be open over weekends and bank holidays.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Sunbelt Rentals to carry out vegetation and bridge repair works on behalf of Network Rail on the 30th May 2023 for a maximum period of 2 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for NINE NIGHTS between 22:00 – 06:00hrs, week nights only.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to carry out highway maintenance works by Bath & North East Somerset Council, operative from 20th March 2023, for a maximum period of 18 Months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for THREE DAYS at each location.

Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to pedestrians that length of Footpaths BA27/28: ST 66532 68226 to ST 66563 68048 Nr Bath Road, Keynsham from a point alongside Withies Farm heading in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 317 metres, BA27/27: ST 66527 67929 to 66837 67819 from its meeting point with BA27/28 in a easterly direction for a distance of approximately 328 metres.  

 

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath consequent upon construction works by Crest Nicholson Operations Limited and will be operative from the 9th February 2023 for a maximum period of 6 months. However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the footpaths will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works which it is anticipated will be 6 months.
