Keynsham Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Neighbourhood Development Plan provides the opportunity for Keynsham residents and employees to identify what they want Keynsham 'to be' for the next 15-20 years.

Member groups were set up to discuss the various topics suggested by the original ideas project. These groups have been meeting in order to put together local planning policies for the NDP that are relevant to Keynsham people, and we are currently in process of finalising these policies.

Once we have these policies and complete our document, this will be sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council for examination, and then we may revise and re-submit to the Council. Following agreement of the document by BATHNES, the NDP will be sent for independent examination. Once the plan is approved, it is sent to every household for referendum. Should the plan be passed by public vote, the Keynsham NDP will become planning policy.
