Keynsham
Christmas Market 26th November 2021 – 6p.m. – 9 p.m.
After a difficult year for many, Keynsham is welcoming people back to the High Street with a Christmas Market on the evening of the 26th November 2021, to celebrate the switch on of the town’s Christmas lights. Keynsham Town Council has been working towards making this a really exciting community event that can be enjoyed by all members of the family.
There will be 40 stalls on Market Walk and in The Space, with traders and community groups selling handmade, locally-sourced crafts and gifts. Enjoy wood fired pizza from Pizza Adorare and beverages from Heavenly Hedgerows, Incredible Brewing Co and Temple Street Canteen, while listening to performances from Keynsham Brass Band and the Salvation Army. We are encouraging High Street shops and businesses to decorate their windows, stay open late, and join in the fun too.
It wouldn’t be a Christmas Market without Santa, so if you’re lucky you might see him in his sleigh. His elves are bringing along their Goodometer to check whether you’ve been naughty or nice this year! We are also excited to be hosting rollerskating performers from Bristol’s Cirq Delight.
Make sure you wear your finest festive gear, as we will be running a Christmas jumper competition with great prizes up for grabs.
This is a scaled-back version of our usual Winter Festival, due to the High Street improvement works, which will be completed in the New Year. As such, there will be no street closures or park & ride service, and all car parks will be open. Additionally, car parking will be free in Keynsham every weekend for the whole month of December.
We encourage all visitors to take a lateral flow test prior to visiting, as well as mask-wearing and hand-washing, to keep our community safe.
