Attention Gardeners, Crafters, Bakers and Artists of every age!
Keynsham Town Council is excited to announce they will be hosting their popular Spring Show on Saturday 28 March 2026 from 12–4:30pm at the 1st Keynsham Scout Headquarters and The Guiding Association Hall on Ashton Way.
With over 100 competitive classes available, there is something for everyone to enter and enjoy. The Horticultural Classes remain a key part of the show, while the popular Cookery Section continues to grow, including an expanded ‘Free-from’ category to support a range of dietary needs.
The Honey, Preserves and Chutney classes have become firm favourites, and there are also classes available in Arts and Handicrafts, Photography, and an inclusive Children’s Category, now offering over five classes.
Now a much loved event in the Keynsham Town Council’s Community Events diary and arriving with the warmer weather the Keynsham Spring Show returns for its fourth year.
Beyond the competitive classes, the Spring Show offers plenty for the whole family to enjoy. The popular Pet Corner will run from 2–4pm, giving visitors the chance to meet and cuddle rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furry friends. Two face painters will create nature inspired free face painting for children aged 3 and over.
The ‘Speakers in the Shed’ will return with local community experts delivering three engaging 30-minute talks throughout the day, covering the topics of small garden insects, artisan bread making, and bee keeping. No booking is required, simply drop in on the day to learn something new, spark your curiosity, and connect with fellow community members.
New for 2026! To encourage the young and young at heart to grow their own vegetables the show is launching a ‘Grow Your Own’ potato competition where for just £5 members of the community can take home a potato growing sack and potato seeds. Participants will be tasked with nurturing and growing their potatoes throughout the summer months and then bring back the potato sack full of freshly grown potatoes to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday 8th August, where the heaviest crop will win a much sought after ‘’Jelly Cat’ potato plush toy!
Attendees are invited to bring their colourful Easter Bonnet creations along on the day and enter the Easter Bonnet Competition.
“It has been incredible to see how the Keynsham Spring Show has grown over the past four years, the number of classes have now doubled and it has captured a real depth of skills and expertise from our community. The variety of interest continues to bring people together, and it’s exciting to see the show is developing as a great day out for the whole family.” said Katherine Sears, Deputy Town Clerk, Keynsham Town Council.
Keynsham Town Council would like to thank their 2026 sponsors: Smart Computers, Redfern Osteopaths, Savour Kitchen and Farm Shop, Keynsham Photo Centre, The Old Bank, Bargain Booze, WW Memorials, FDC Law, Muse Dental, Rose Holistic Therapies, Wild About Flowers and Perfect Fit whose contributions will make this year’s event special.
In addition, a special thank you to the 1st Keynsham Scouts for their continued support and use of the Scout Headquarters and to Keynsham Guiding Association for the use of their hall enabling the event to deliver an even bigger, delightful seasonal community event.
